
Siddhivinayak the temple of lord Ganesha, located in prabhadevi area in Mumbai (Maharashtra) built in 1801. It is one of the richest temple in India. Siddhivinayak name symbolizes “Ganesha who grants your wish’. The temple has a small mandap with the shrine of Siddhi Vinayak. The wooden doors to the sanctum are covered with images of the Asthavinayak (the eight manifestations of Ganesha). The inner roof of the sanctum is plated with gold, and the central statue is of Ganesha.
Inside the premises of temple there is a separate temple of lord Hanuman.
It’s a saying that the Siddhivinayak temple receives huge donations every year, which makes it Mumbai city’s richest temple trust.
How to reach siddhivinayak
The cheapest and best way to travel in Mumbai is via Mumbai local. The nearest station to Siddhivinayak is Dadar, take a exist from gate number 2 there are regular taxis available on sharing basis from Dadar to Siddhivinayak. It take approx 15 minutes to commute.

Wednesday to Monday : Temple is open from 5:30 AM to 9:50 PM
Tuesday : Temple is open from 3:15 AM to next day 12:30 AM
Mobile & Handbags
As there are thousands of devotees everyday in temple. It is advisable not to carry your mobile and handbags inside the temple. There is locker facility available in the temple you can use that for your belongings safety.
